The Rise of Dollar Stores



 According to this report by CNN Business in 2021, “nearly 1 in 3 new stores opening in the US is a Dollar General”. In fact, the retailers with the highest number of stores in the U.S. as of 2021 are Dollar General (18K+ locations), followed by Dollar Tree (15k+ locations); and as of 2022, there are more than 37000 dollar stores in the U.S.
